Seattle Chinese Association, also known as SCA, is a new non-profit organization based in Seattle area, to promote and serve local community, to help broadcast traditional culture and merit from our heart, and to bring peace and love to the city we spend our daily life.
Seattle Chinese Association (SCA) is a nonprofit organization established in the Seattle area four years ago. The founding members are primarily former and current board members of the Microsoft Chinese Association, together with some new members who brought fresh energy to the initiative. Since its establishment, SCA has focused on supporting and serving the local community—especially the Chinese community—through public service, promoting traditional Chinese culture, and advancing charitable causes related to culture, education, and safety.Despite the challenges brought by the COVID-19 pandemic, SCA has collaborated closely with more than 10 other Chinese organizations in the Seattle area to successfully host a wide range of well-received community events, including:
